Here's Franklin on his little toy car. He likes to ride it all over the house. The night before we gave him a nice haircut, more like a hairbuzz.

Sunday Night I chased the kids around after their bath so I could capture a bit of their joy.

Bragfest!

Danny and me, just before dying my hair...not a good choice, ooopsies!

Bella pretending to be the President and giving a speech. On her agenda: Everyone gets to play all day long. Sign me up!

Franklin and Curious George at the Library.

I am so astonished at how fast time goes now that I am older. I remember as a kid, when I overheard grownups talking about how they had graduated high school 15 years ago, I would think to myself: 'Holy cow, is it possible for you to be so ancient?' Well now I am pretty much that old. I wish I could go back in time an make some different choices...but then again I would not trade my now for anything. I am grateful to have my 2 beautiful angels in my life. Bella is a cute kid, she is dang smart and goofy at the same time, she gets her wits from her mother, you're welcome Bella; and her goofiness from Papo, and ok, her gorgeous looks come from daddy-o too. And Franklin, OH my goodness! Talk about getting you happiness fix every single day. He is about the happiest child you'll ever meet, and oh so easy on the eyes too! Today he finally got his hair buzzed again. I mean, this is the 3rd time we take off his long locks. With long hair or short, he is still so super handsome. I will have to take a picture of his haircut and post it here. This is all for now. Have yourselves a good night, and dont forget to brush your teeth!

Happy January, I have been MIA. So busy and tired by the end of the day to sit and write down the events of my life.
My daughter and son sure keep me on my toes. Bella for example decided to use acrylic paints on her face as make up. I made sure to take a picture of that since it is so funny. I made Zach clean her up since I always get the job of cleaning every fun mess they come up with.

"Look Mom, I have make up on and red hands too!"

Time to wash it off

Good as new!

let it snow let it snow let it snow!

We have received a good amount of snow this weekend. Our backyard looks like a perfectly white carpet, it is pretty smooth except for the 2 tracks of kitty paw prints.
I cannot believe how incredibly fast this year has come and gone! Just the other day I saw a video of Franklin from last year on Christmas eve and he was teeny, he was about almost 4 months old., now he is almost 16 months old, he looks so grown up and big. He is saying "Papo, Mama, and Bella and Tatis" it is cute to hear him talk.
Bella is growing big as well. She is reading on her own level 1 books, the ones that are easy for 1st time readers. I am so happy to have my 2 little angels, so happy and healthy. What a gift!!
So I need to take some pics of the snow and of my sad Christmas tree. It is pretty bald at the bottom because the kids have plucked the ornaments off.
Everyone have a great Christmas. Stay safe out on those icy roads. Hug all your loved ones and let them know how special they are to you, that ought to bring them a big ol' smile, and that would be a great gift.
Feliz Navidad, and Merry Christmas to all!

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season, do your neighborhoods have Christmas lights everywhere? Well our Christmas tree has been summonned to the office so the little kids dont rip the ornaments off, well it's not working out too good, it has been plucked by Bella and Franklin.
I want to put the tree in the livingroom but I know it will not survive, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know, I know many of you have kids and have ideas, so share the love please!

some old pics

I am ready for the hoe-down!

What chocolate bar? I didnt see one!!!

on top of a hill

Here I am looking at the Snake River. Check out Wally's overalls, nice fashion statement, huh?

I hiked a little paved trail in Rexburg called Cress Creek. It was very beautiful and serene. I went by myself and learned to appreciate nature a lot more. The air is so clean and crisp. So here is Cress Creek and views of the Snake River.
