Here is Bella and Franklin looking angelic

Crazy Fun Busy

We have been having a crazy busy week here at our house. Our lovely niece returns home this weekend to Hawaii. We had a lot of fun making plays and reading library books by the dozens. This week we took family pictures at Sears, before that we went to movies at the fancy theater here in Boise. On Tues and Wed mornings the theater plays old children's movies for free they are really fun the only cost here is gasoline but it is worth getting out to see a movie on the big screen. After the movie, Paula (sister in law) and the kids and I,of course went to an all-u-can-handle-in-your-tummy pizza place it was ok. I needed to get something to wear for the picture and I must confess I am a horrible shopper. I dont know how to get clothes that look good but anyhow the blouse in the picture is new. We hurried back home to get gorgeous. I bathed my 2 babies and got them all dolled up. Jackie got her hair done with curls, thank you Paula. I left myself to the end to get ready, I put some make up on (I am not a make-up person) but you know, it was picture time so I made the effort. I dont like how I look in the picture but I think everyone else looks really good especially the 3 kids. That evening since we were all made up, we went to dinner and man it was good. The following day we went to a friend's house to swim, it was loads of fun there, the water in the pool was 88F nice. And on Friday, Bella and Jackie went ice skating. Our libraries host a summer reading program, they ask kids to read or be read to 20 minutes a day for 30 days, they get rewarded for that. One of the prizes was a pass to Ice World. Well, buy one get one free, which is still good. Jackie is very talented with swimming and ice skating. My little monkey on the other hand has not had lessons in either one of these sports but boy she will try anything and keep trying even if she falls. She is very brave. Dont we wish we could stay brave like little kids!? I know I do.

Funny and cool animals

My Brother Adam sent me these pictures they are pretty neat I think.
Happy Sunday. I hope you all are having a wonderful summer. We are having fun. Bella loves swimming and swimming. Cousin Jackie has been here since the second week of June and it has been great, they play and argue, loads of fun. We have also gone to visit gramps and granny that is always fun. I am trying to upload a photo to change up the blog a little but it's not working too well. I will try again.

More Weekend Updates

Gramps and Granny on Sunday
Here are all the grandkids, what is wrong with my child, she is stuck in supermodel mode
Ma' and Pa' and the Boys
We have had a great weekend. My parents in law are very hospitable. My mother in law has written a book/screenplay titled Seven Sisters, and I taught her the very little I know about blogging, she has a website for the screenplay and will start a blog on it as well. If you are reading this, you may want to check it out it is very good, lots of history.
Burke taught me a little on how to have other income sources, he has some serious investments all over the place, I really need to change my mentality of "just enough to pay the bills" to "prepare for the future without having to work until the day I die" unless you really enjoy working you should work because you enjoy it not because you have to.
Another big part of visiting the in-laws is eating and eating. They have the best food at their house every time we go visit. On Saturday we had grilled cornish hen and on Sunday we had hamburgers and hotdogs. YUM! I really enjoy spending time with them and so do my kids, well Bella, Franklin is happy pretty much anywhere he goes. It was also very nice to have Wally and Granny have the 3 boys home, Don has been living out of the U.S. for a long long time. I took advantage of the situation and took pictures of them together. We were only missing Paula Michelle to have the complete family together. Maybe soon, we will have that opportunity.
In other news, my sister Leticia flew to Mexico today to visit our mom and sister Mari. I am next, not sure when but hopefully soon. Mari and I will be communicating via internet, it is really cool to talk with her and be able to see her in her webcam and they can see us as well. I LOVE TECHNOLOGY!
Anyway, I have some serious work to do around the house and water my jalapenos. Great Night Everyone!
